April 27th is LYS Day, but it could also be the day that forever changes the way you look at sweaters.
Join me for a lecture (you’ll get a booklet to follow along) on all things sweater making. We’ll discuss fibers and how to substitute yarns in patterns, how to measure your body and adjust patterns to better fit your unique shape, common fitting mistakes and how to avoid them, and even talk about the dreaded gauge- what it means, how to get it (and why you might *not* want to get gauge) and making it work for you!
We’ll also discuss some easy structural changes to make to make your next sweater your very favorite. Whether you’re just starting out on your adventure into fitted knitting, or have several sweaters under your belt, this custom fit class could help you look at your next project with a different (more clinical) perspective and a lot more confidence.
We’ll have plenty of time for questions during the class and an opportunity to get your personal measurements after class and discuss how to make your sweater more flattering for your body type.
